Nice sense of movement overall. I also like the feeling and ambiance you have established here. I haven't played Transistor, but I get the relationship between the two characters pretty easily here. There's also a strong sense of forlorn mystery here. It makes me curious to know more about the world and the relationship between the two characters. 

I'm having a hard time finding where it is that you've made this "error" so your work didn't go to waste, as far as I can tell. I would say that you shouldn't rush. Take your time. It's much better for you and for your work to take the time to enjoy the process and the result. Just personally speaking here. 

Although I can totally agree that it's maddening to go well past the history limit and find out you made an accidental merge or a mistake to the point you can't fix it. That does suck. On the positive side though, you learn from it and you try not to make the same error the next time. 

Also not trying to sound like a broken record or anything, but you should push to give detail to your hands. I get that there's individual fingers through your shading and line-work, but I'd like to see more clearly defined definition in that area.
